Day 1

Zagreb

Transfer to a 4-star hotel . Dinner, free time in Zagreb.

Day 2

Zagreb

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Zagreb with a tourist guide. Starting with the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary and treasury museum. Sightseeing will be continued on Ban Jelačić square, park Zrinjevac, Mimara museum and Croatian National Theatre. The afternoon will be spent on the Upper town. The entrance to the Upper town is the Stone Gate, one of the four gates of the old Zagreb fortification. These were probably built after 1266, but are mentioned in 1357 for the first time. Continuing from St. Mark church on the same square. This church is famous forits coloured roof, and its origins are from the 15th century. There are also the Parliament and Government buildings. Near the square is also the baroque church of St. Catherine.

Day 3

Zagreb - Vran

Breakfast. Departing in the direction of Vran mountain. Accommodation in a 3-star hotel. After a break hiking for 2,5 km on the Vran mountain- the highest peak is 2075 meters. After arriving in the hotel we will have dinner.

Day 4

Vran - Međugorje

Visiting a farm with domestic eco-products: cheese, prosciutto and lamb. After lunch departure for Međugorje, a catholic place of pilgrimage where apparitions of the blessed Mary started in 1981. Accommodation in a hotel. Free evening in one of the wine cellars.

Day 5

Međugorje - Split

After breakfast visiting the Apparition hill. Departing for Split. Accommodation in a 3* hotel. Free evening.

Day 6

Split

After breakfast sightseeing atthe Diocletian Palace built between the 3th and 4the century. Since 1979 it is on UNESCO's world heritage list. Continuing in Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, strolling along Split's seaside promenade and climbing to the top of Marjan hill above Split. Returning to the hotel.

Day 7

Split-Kornati

After breakfast departing for a cruise to Kornati Islands (National park). Lunch on the boat. Returning to the hotel. Free evening.

Day 8

Split - Plitvička jezera

After breakfast leaving Split and visiting the national park Plitvice Lakes. Sightseeing in the park with a tourist guide. Plitvice are a national park since1949 and on UNESCO’s world heritage list since 1979. After arriving in Zagreb departure for the airport.
